International: TOP UN OFFICIAL STRESSES NEED FOR INTERNET …
By Donna J. Jodhan

There used to be a time when the Internet was mainly an environment for English speaking persons.  Almost everything was in English, and if you wanted to search for information, nine out of 10 times, it would come back to you in English.  In a very few short years, this has drastically changed and now thanks to many media houses and software companies, translations can now be available in real time and there are oodles of translation tools to help you translate to and from English.

Boy o boy!  The world of language communications has really opened up and it is only going to get better for everyone!  Even the search engines have gotten in on the act and they are striving to make things easier for us whenever we search using foreign language terms and phrases.  There are even more online foreign language dictionaries to choose from.  Media houses are also getting in on the action and software developers are constantly racing to improve the translation process.

A whole new world for us all and I invite you to read my reference below.
