On March 9th, Donna was interviewed by the office of the Auditor General of Canada as they were interested to obtain her feedback on what it is like when it comes to accessible transportation for Canadians with disabilities across Canada.
Donna focused her feedback on airlines, rail companies, along with the Canadian Transportation Agency. She had very high praise for Via Rail and urged the Auditor General’s office to encourage airlines to be more proactive. She also urged them to encourage the CTA to engage more with companies and Canadians with disabilities.
Compliance with the Accessible Canada Act was also a concern for Donna.
