How to Make Street Corners More Accessible
Before you say no or turn thumbs down on these suggestions; consider these thoughts.
You can definitely increase your revenue and reduce both your internal and external costs and here’s how.
Take it from me! I have been an accessibility awareness consultant and advisor since 1998 and I continue to help companies to increase their revenues, reduce their costs, and reach hidden consumer markets!
For this month, this topic is one where you can achieve the above by being your very own consultant and helping others to follow you. So here are a few tips to get you going.
So here are some tips to help you gain more customers and increase your revenues:
The street corner should not be crowded and if you are lucky to have a business place at a street corner then you need to make full use of your location.
Make sure that your facilities are easy to find and enter.
The necessary ramps, signs, and ease of entry.
Make sure that your door is easy to find; paint it in bright colors.
Make your signs easy to read and do your best to have a clear path to your business place.
You need to remember that the consumers of tomorrow; your bread and butter consumers, are going to be seniors and persons with disabilities and also remember that when you accommodate these consumers you are also going to bring benefits to such persons as mom with strollers, persons in a hurry to buy what you are selling, and persons curious to see what you are offering.
So take these tips and help yourself to more revenue and lower costs.
