December’s Lantern

In the hush of December, when the days draw their curtains early and frost paints lace on every windowpane, something quietly magical stirs in the stillness. The world seems to lean in, listening—listening for the crackle of firelight, the rustle of memories unwrapped like old gifts, the soft footfall of dreams yet to be chased.

This is the month that holds a mirror to the soul. It asks not for perfection, but for presence. It invites you to pause, to warm your hands around a mug of something kind, and to remember that even in the longest nights, light persists.

You are the lantern in the dark. Your smile, a spark. Your compassion, a fire. Let December not just be an end, but a threshold. Let it be the time you gather your strength, cradle your hope, and carry it into the new year like a torch—glowing, steady, unstoppable.

Even the coldest winds whisper promises to those who listen.

So go ahead. Light your December. The world is waiting.
