On November 4th, Donna engaged in her second virtual meeting with the RBC team to express her concerns with regard to the lack of accessibility and usability of the personal banking page. On this page, Donna expected to be able to carry out her e-transfers but alas! Donna shared her deepening concerns that she is independently unable to perform her e-transfers, and as an accessibility tester, there were glaring gaps when it came to adhering to the WCAG standards.
She shares that unfortunately the RBC team does not appear to understand the urgency and lack of accessibility of RBC’s not meeting certain requirements. Donna is seriously considering next steps, which may or may not include a combination of escalation and legal letters to management.
