We are living in a world where it is becoming a child’s play when it comes to how easy scammers and hackers are able to commit crimes of scams and hacks.
It just seems that scammers and hackers can’t seem to be stopped as a whole and that we the population need to find ways to protect ourselves. No, running and hiding is not going to cut it and no! any sort of legislation may probably not be the answer to our woes.
If you happen to stop them in one way they seem to find another. They come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and oh yes! Gender does not matter! From the youngest to the oldest and you would often see older folks using the younger ones; the kids to do their dirty work. In many instances you would even find seniors being a part of the landscape.
So what could be a plausible answer to this growing problem? More protection maybe? However, what type of protection? More awareness and anti scam training? Maybe!
Let us just bare in mind that scams come in all forms; from emails to phone calls. From knocks at the door to sales persons. From ads in magazines to those on TV. We cannot escape the bombardment!
