Section: Mystery of the month:

This month, I'd like to whet your appetite with a brief description of one of my episodes of my audio mysteries that I have chosen for you.

This one is called "Breakfast in the Bahamas" and here is a brief description.

Cori Hobbs, Scottie Allerie, and Dana Brisco had a tradition to vacation together twice annually. Once to the Bahamas and once to Hawaii. However on this last trip to the Bahamas, something went terribly wrong and one of these close friends did not make it back home. Why? A case of secrets revealed?

Who could have done it?

Was it Blaine Kinkade the third, Dana's husband?
Dana was suing for a divorce.

Could it have been a A software company hit man?
Dana had been threatened by someone from the software company.

Or could it have been someone who wanted their secret kept?
Dana had recently uncovered a smuggling ring and they did not want her to report it.

This is a mystery where the killer goes to great pains to disguise themselves using very advanced planning to commit the crime and you are left guessing until the very last minute. Dana pays the price for innocently stumbling upon some deep dark secrets!

Dana Brisco was a well loved prosecuter. Not just for her brilliance but also for her honesty and good looks. No oneever expected her to meet her demise in this way!

You can purchase this audio mystery for the very affordable price of $2.49 U.S. Each of my audio mysteries costs $2.49 U.S and you can purchase an entire season of 13 mysteries for the very low price of $24.99 U.S.

Section: Author Donna Jodhan's Picks of the Month:

Okay, here is a great tip for you when you have just bought a new fridge or freezer. Allow for the freezer or fridge to get cool for at least 24 hours before placing your stuff in it.

About toothpaste stripes:
The stripes in toothpaste are created by a special device fitted to the nozzle end of the tube. A colored toothpaste is first filled around the special fitting, the white toothpaste is filled second, which holds the colored toothpaste in place at the top of the tube. When the tube is squeezed, the white toothpaste would run through the special inner tube and the pressure of the squeeze simultaneously forces the colored toothpaste through the tiny orifices at the end. The toothpaste emerges perfectly striped.

A piece of trivia:
About 8,000 Americans are injured by musical instruments each year.

A nice to know about the French language:
The French language has seventeen different words for 'surrender'.

About the intake of grapefruit:
Not a good idea to eat grapefruit if you are taking pills for your cholesterol.

Some trivia on liquid measurements:
Liquid measurements are different in Britain than in the United States: A fluid ounce is smaller, while pints, quarts, and gallons are larger.

When marinating your next pork roast:
Best to do it and leave it overnight in its marinates.
Wrap tightly in foil after marinating.

Some useful trivia:
The "Q" in Q-tips stands for quality. They were originally called Baby Gays.

Only a few species of piranha are carnivorous; most eat plant matter or insects.

A neat way for you to clean your eye lashes! Squeeze a spot of baby shampoo in to the palms of your hands, Lather it around in your palms, then rub gently on your eye lashes. Close your eyes of course before doing this. Presto! You will have fresh clean eye lashes. Be sure to run your fingers inwards towards your nose when doing this.

An orchid tip!
If you plan to have an indoor orchid, then follow these instructions. Place in a window that faces East or South. Water once weekly.
You can do this by placing an ice cube in the soil of each side of the pot. Enjoy!
