The time has come to change the way we listen, and what we allow and encourage our kids to listen to. Yes! The time has come for us to use the spoken word to help change how our kids think, act, and react. It's all about using the power of the spoken word to reshape our mindset to become problem solvers through logic and fact rather than through violence and crime.

Donna Jodhan has developed a very unique and potent recipe for helping to fight crime and it all begins with exposing kids and their parents to clean listening through her audio mysteries. In short! Section: Mystery of the Month

This month I'd like to whet your appetite with a brief description of an audio mystery episode that I have chosen for you. This one is called "Rally in the Rose Garden" and here is a brief description:

A story of deceit, jealousy, and a general who took whatever he wanted.
He was liked and disliked but at the end!
General Alexander Beaumont had to die!

Who could have done this?

There was someone who did not like the victim for his views and thought that the general was all wrong for the army.
There was someone who desired to have a settling of accounts because he had recently been demoted by the general.
There was someone who the general had been blackmailing because he had caught her passing on intelligence material to a foreign government.
Someone had wanted the general dead because he had been having an affair with his wife.

You can purchase this audio mystery for the very affordable price of $0.99 USD. Each of my audio mysteries cost $0.99 USD and you can purchase an entire season of 13 mysteries for the very low price of $9.99 USD.

Section:Some Friendly Advice From Author Donna Jodhan:

For this month, I'd like to focus some attention on imagining. I have found that the ability to imagine definitely helps me to move my writing forward. It does not cost anything to imagine. All you need to do is to allow yourself to think and imagine. Anything and everything!

The beauty about imagining is that you can do it anywhere and everywhere. You can use almost anything to help you imagine; music, words, a passage that you have read, your memory, a TV show, anything!

You would be surprised to discover how for example the sound of children laughing can trigger your imagination or how the sound of running water or horns blaring on a busy street can help to give your imagination a jolt. So why not try it?

Happy imagining!

Section: The Mysterious World of Detective DJ:

Each month, I, Detective DJ, will be sharing snippets of my world with my readers and to kick things off, I'll tell you a wee bit about who I am.

I am blind and I record my audio mysteries in my own voice. With a bit of luck I hope to start recording my own background music for my audios in the near future and I have plans to develop my own audio mystery games. I have already recorded two seasons of my Crime Crushers series and am almost finished writing my third season. I am hoping to record my third season some time in early 2014.

My first two seasons were broadcasted by Accessible Media, Inc. of Toronto Canada and is presently being aired on ACB Radio. Going forward, ACB Radio plans to air future seasons on its station.

I live and work in Toronto Canada and I am supported by a team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals. Of course, my mysteries are all fictional; written and recorded by me. My mysteries are filled with drama, excitement, and suspense but most of all; they are free of bad and racy language and there are no explicit descriptions of sex and violence.

For next month, I will introduce you to my team and tell you a bit more about my world but in the meantime, happy listening!
